About the event
This Tuesday, September 20, we will celebrate the Autumn Equinox, also called Mabon and Alban Elfed ("a Light of Water") in Celtic and Wicca traditions, around the Fire at Mamajah Farm. This festival is the second in the Celtic calendar to honor the Harvest, after Lugnasad. 🍀
Nouri, magical musician, will offer us an ecstatic dance at 5 p.m. and nourish us with his solar energy 🌞 At 7 p.m., we will gently enter the energies of the Night which are honored in this special transition of the year which welcomes the Long Nights of autumn and winter after the reign of the Sun 🌚. Autumn is at its peak and we will celebrate what brings us joy in this season, and also the difficulties and fears that can come out of it 🍂🍁.
This is a co-creation that will be largely guided by intuition! Celtic ceremony (and other welcome traditions!), grounding meditations, sharing circle on what the equinox means to us, sacred texts, music, a fall-themed Canadian buffet ... everything is possible in co-creation! Each of us is encouraged to feel (and perhaps write down) before the ceremony what the Equinox means to us, and what our wishes may be for the period of the Long Nights. ✨
We will also have the opportunity to make music together (bring your instruments 😁) and share a Canadian meal (local, ethical, veggie etc. in the theme of Autumn!) around the fire. 🔥 Everyone is encouraged to soak up the fall theme as much as we want in our clothing!! 🍂
This is a sacred event and open to all budgets, free and conscious price 😊 Minimum donations of 12 .- for the place and 25 .- for the dance are suggested.

We strongly encourage soft mobility (the Farm is accessible by bus 43). However, if you have no choice but to come by car, here is a link to organize yourself to gocovoit.
Note that in the spirit of co-creation and for this type of event to continue, we share together the responsibility for the place and will together make sure to make it even more beautiful than we found it, following the principle of Regeneration.
